Arterial hypertension, exertional angina, unstable angina, sinus tachycardia (including in thyrotoxicosis), supraventricular tachycardia, atrial tachyarrhythmia, supraventricular and ventricular extrasystoles, myocardial infarction (systolic arterial pressure over 100 Mmhg), essential tremor, alcohol withdrawal symptoms (agitation and tremor), anxiety, pheochromocytoma (adjuvant therapy), migraine (prevention of attacks), Basedow's disease and thyrotoxic crisis, sympathoadrenal crises in diencephalic syndrome patients.
In which cases you must be cautious or completely discontinue the drug?
- Hypersensitivity
- severe heart failure or decompensated CHF
- cardiogenic shock, AV block II-III degree, SA blockade
- sick sinus syndrome, sinus bradycardia (heart rate less than 55/min)
- Prinzmetal's angina, cardiomegaly (with no signs of CF)
- hypotension (systolic blood pressure less than 90 Mmhg, especially in myocardial infarction)
- COPD, severe bronchial asthma
- occlusive peripheral vascular disease (complicated by gangrene, intermittent claudication or pain at rest)
- diabetes with ketoacidosis, metabolic acidosis
- pregnancy, lactation
- with caution: allergic reactions in the medical history, heart failure, pheochromocytoma, liver failure, renal failure, Raynaud's syndrome, myasthenia gravis, hyperthyroidism, depression (including history), psoriasis, pregnancy, pediatric and elderly use.

- endocrine system: hyperglycemia (in patients with insulin-dependent diabetes), hypoglycemia (in patients receiving insulin), decreased thyroid function
- allergic reactions: itching, skin rash, urticaria
- skin: increased sweating, skin hyperemia, rash, alopecia, psoriasis-like skin reactions, exacerbation of psoriasis symptoms
- laboratory values: thrombocytopenia (unusual bleeding or hemorrhage), agranulocytosis, leukopenia, increased activity of liver transaminases, hyperbilirubinemia
- other: back pain, arthralgia, decreased libido, reduced potency, withdrawal syndrome (increased angina attacks, increased blood pressure)
