What should you know about the Norvasc therapeutic effects?

A slow calcium channel blocker of II generation, dihydropyridine derivative with antianginal and hypotensive action. Does not cause sharp decrease of blood pressure, decreased exercise tolerance, left ventricular ejection fraction. The drugs effects manifest within 2-4 hours, effect duration is 24 hours.

The Norvasc adverse effects include:

• digestive system: nausea, abdominal pain, hyperbilirubinemia, jaundice, increase in the activity of liver transaminase
