What should you know about the Meloxicam therapeutic effects?

Meloxicam expresses the following effects: anti-inflammatory, analgesic, antipyretic. The drug selectively inhibits COX-2 that regulates prostaglandins in the inflamed region. In a lesser degree the drug inhibits COX-1 which controls prostaglandins that protect the mucous lining of the stomach and regulate blood flow in the kidneys.
