Stablon is a tricyclic antidepressant which stimulates the reuptake of serotonin by neurons in the cerebral cortex and hippocampus, increases the spontaneous activity of hippocampal pyramidal cells and accelerates the restoration of their capacity after functional suppression. Stablon also improves mood, reduces or eliminates locomotor retardation, increases overall body tone. Tianeptine also reduces the symptoms of anxiety and depression in PTSD. • Digestive tract: dry mouth, anorexia, pain in the epigastrium and abdomen, nausea, vomiting, constipation, flatulence
• Other: hot flashes, pain syndrome (myalgia, pain in the lumbosacral spine)
