Active Ingredients:
- Tretionon
What should you know about the Generic Retin-A therapeutic effects?
A natural metabolite of retinol, violates the expression of a gene that causes changes in protein synthesis. Passes through the cell membranes and forms complexes with specific cytoplasmic receptors, which penetrate the cell nucleus and bind to DNA. Depending on the state of the tissue, the protein synthesis is induced or inhibited. Tretinoin inhibits the gene transcription factor (AP-I), thereby reducing or eliminating the synthesis of metalloproteinases and leveling the negative impact of sunlight over the skin (including hyperpigmentation).
Induction of transcription leads to an increase in the number of epithelial cells in the mitosis state, which contributes to skin regeneration, decreases adhesion of the cells involved in the formation of vulgar acne, prevents formation of keratin plugs, increases the synthesis of glycosaminoglycan-like substances in the corneal layer of the epithelium.
In open acne, helps smoothing the surface of the skin without signs of inflammation. In closed acne, promotes their transition into the open acne or papules, which then heal without scarring after the removal of keratin plugs. Prevents the formation of new acne.
